An Invisible Thread by Laura Schroff

This is another biography that has touched me. Laura is a busy sales executive who one day passes by a young boy asking her for change.  She keeps walking, then for some reason she turns around and takes him to McDonald's.  From there they meet every Monday.  What they learn from each other cannot be measured in words.  An incredible story and a great read! Wild: From Lost to Found on the Pacific Crest Trail by Cheryl Strayed

This amazing biography touched me to the very core.  I usually do not read biographies, however my sister told me and our other siblings we should read it. I'm glad I listened to her. This is the story of Cheryl who after losing her mother to cancer, had a divorce and really did not have a decent job, decided to walk 1,100 miles on the Pacific Coast Trail.  She is hoping to find herself and encounters many interesting stories along the way.  I would highly recommend this book. I loved it! -- submitted by Marianne
