Joyland by Stephen King

Devin Jones plans to work at Joyland, an amusement park in North Carolina, just to make a little extra money over the summer before he heads back to school.  Instead he finds himself losing a love, seeing ghosts, investigating a mystery and becoming a part of a sick boy’s life.  Not as ghostly or as ghastly as a lot of King’s fare, but an enjoyable, quick read nonetheless.
