An accident, a murder, a secret. Joy paints vivid characters in this North Carolina novel about forgiveness and retribution that will leave you emotionally conflicted. One of the best books I've read this year!!

This is a novel where the author brilliantly brings four very different stories with a common thread together. These stories and people converge and intersect briefly in Los Angeles. A quick read that I enjoyed.
